We are proud to annouce that our high end bathroom vanity, OKD, has been qualified for the final jury of IF Design Award 2021.

(OKD)

OKD by Tona is a bathroom furniture range designed and engineered in Germany, inspired by antique Chinese furniture and architecture. Whilst many Asian manufacturers take inspiration from Italian bathroom design, our approach was to indulge into the clean design language and the rich Chinese cultural heritage. Concept wise we focused on a maximum of storage space and incorporated practical kinematic features to add comfort.

The mirror cabinet has integrated warm-white direct and indirect illumination. The center mirror can be slided to the side to reveil an integrated magnifying mirror which is automatically illuminated. A vertical drawer is electrically operated by touching its downside and is also softly illuminated when its extended.

All drawer are equipped with soft sliders. The upper drawers do additionally have convenience trays, which illuminate and move the content up for better ergonomics. Our intention was that the user can convert the vanity into a makeup parlor with all accessories in easy reach.
